Sky-past bridge
In a Destiny Matrix chart, the sky-past bridge is one of four integration points that sit between the main directions, this one between the calling above and the past behind. It describes how a person's higher-purpose direction meets the material they were formed with. It names a meeting place, a domain where two energies of the chart negotiate.
How it's derived
The sky-past bridge is derived by adding the calling and past values together and reducing the total to fall between 1 and 22. It is a blend of the two positions it sits between. Every value reduces to fall between 1 and 22, matching the twenty-two arcana. The full arithmetic, with a worked example, is on the method page.
How to read it
Read a bridge as the conversation between its two neighbors, not as a lesser position tucked in the corner. The sky-past bridge shows how aspiration and origin inform each other, whether they pull together or against. It is read after the center and the four directions, because it only makes sense once those are clear.
Newcomers often skip the bridges as minor or decorative, background to the real positions. In this system they carry the integration work of the chart; a bridge names where two domains are learning to hold each other, which is rarely a small thing.
A position names where a domain of attention sits in the chart. Whichever arcana lands here colors it; none of them is a verdict.Read your own matrix orsee how this system differs from numerology.
