The Birth Chart is not just a list of numbers — it's a three-storey map of your inner world.
Every number in the Pythagorean Birth Chart belongs to one of three planes: Physical, Soul, or Mind. Together, these three planes describe the complete landscape of a human being — how we act, how we feel, and how we think.
The plane of action, body, and practical construction.
Numbers 1, 4, and 7 make up the Physical Plane. When present in your birth chart, they indicate a natural gift for taking action and engaging directly with the practical world.
The plane of feeling, intuition, and inner wisdom.
Numbers 2, 5, and 8 make up the Soul Plane. A full Soul Plane indicates exceptionally deep emotional intelligence and intuitive awareness.
The plane of thought, creativity, and vision.
Numbers 3, 6, and 9 make up the Mind Plane. A complete Mind Plane brings exceptional creative and intellectual capacity.
The nine core numbers are arranged in a 3×3 grid. Each row corresponds to a plane; each column corresponds to a different quality of expression. Numbers that appear in your birth date are active — numbers that are absent are your growth edges.
An Arrow is formed when three numbers in a straight line on the Birth Chart are all present — or all absent. Arrows of presence are your most powerful natural gifts. Arrows of absence are your deepest growth invitations.
David Phillips, who developed the modern Pythagorean system, called these 'Arrows of Individuality' because no two people have exactly the same combination. They are what make each person's chart uniquely their own.
The Blueprint page calculates your full Birth Chart from your date of birth — showing which numbers you carry, which are absent, and which Arrows are active.
